Explored the Indian & Sea Museum in Orange Beach!

Katie and I had a great lunch today at Brick and Spoon! We spent Tourist Tuesday at the Indian and Sea Museum in Orange Beach. The museum houses local artifacts and memorabilia relating to our Native American and fishing heritage. This was such a cool spot and a great mini field trip for the family!

Took a wheel pottery class at the Clay Studio in Orange Beach

We had such a fun Tourist Tuesday at the Clay Studio at the Coastal Arts Center with instructor Maya Blume-Cantrell. She was so wonderful and we had a “wheely” great time!

We get to pick up our finished pots in a few weeks- can’t wait for y’all to see!

Had Milkshakes at The Yard Milkshake Bar

Katie and I had a sweet treat to start off the work week! On this Tourist Tuesday, we headed over to the The Yard for some milkshakes! I got the gluten-free “Cereal Killer” and Katie got the “Donut Touch My Coffee”. We made sure not to look at the calories Also, did you know that Mark Cuban invested in this business when they were on Shark Tank? Such a cool concept and we loved their shakes!

Played putt-putt at Jurassic Golf in Gulf Shores

Rainy day at the beach? No problem! Jurassic Golf has come to Gulf Shores and is the perfect family or team building outing. Y’all go check them out!

Gem Mining at AL Gulf Coast Zoo

Mining Edition! We had the best time mining for stones and gold (Fool’s gold, but still shiny!) I put together a collage of the stones we found and they were so cool . After mining, we did a self-guided tour and got to view the camels and bulls. Then we got to feed the donkeys and sheep! Highly recommend these activities- The WHOLE family will have a blast!

Played with the Kangaroos at Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo

Kangaroo Edition! The other day we did the Kangaroo encounter at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. We had the best time interacting and learning more about them. We learned that it’s best to pet them from the back- Otherwise you might get kicked!

Took a Sand Castle Building class!

Katie, Cayden, and I graduated with honors from Sand Castle University! We loved getting to spend some of our Friday perfecting our sand castle building skills! Played with Lemurs at AL Gulf Coast Zoo

Lemur encounter edition! We had the best time playing and hanging out (literally hanging out with them!!) with the lemurs at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. We got to meet Loki, Thor, and Wanda during our time and they are so fun and soft! If you haven’t done this yet, I would highly recommend it because it’s something the whole family will enjoy.

Dinoscapes Jurassic Giants at The Wharf

We took a step back into prehistoric times here at The Wharf. Dinoscapes’ Jurassic Giants exhibit is full of animated Dinosaurs that love to interact and even take selfies! Go check it out! The exhibit will be extinct after Oct 14th!

Glass Blowing Class at The Coastal Arts Center

We had the best time celebrating Ted’s (one of our Coastal Leader agents) birthday! We went to the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach and took a glass blowing class.

It was the best time!

(Ted made a paperweight, Katie made a starfish , and I made a flower !)
